I am a Full Professor of Systems Biology and leader of the Computational Systems Biology team in LPHI. Expert in systems and mathematical biology, most particular in deterministic and stochastic biochemical networks, model reduction and multiscale modelling of biological systems. Through many collaborations with wet lab biologists, I apply my methods to emergence of complexity and error-correction phenomena in Drosophila early development, and to multi-scale aspects of cancer, HIV and malaria development and resistance to treatment.
