My research interests revolve around mapping and predicting the relationships between genetic sequences, their biological activities and larger phenotypic consequences for the organisms.
We are leveraging high-throughput DNA synthesis to precisely design a large number of new sequences that explore properties of interests. Functional activities and other phenotypes are measured at scale using various DNA sequencings technologies.
We develop custom bioinformatics and statistical tools to help us design, process, analysis and modelling of the large amount of data generated.
