Theoretical physicist by training, I have been working on computational epidemiology and network science for the last 15 years. I develop model for studying the transmission and the geographical diffusion of animal diseases, like Peste de Petits Ruminants and Rift Valley Fever, in West africa. I recently got interested in merging different approaches to retrieve epidemiological data and assessing the impact of animal diseases in long and short term , and also their socio-economic impact.
